The Horsebridge Singers form a thirty piece community choir that has developed and grown out of a singing workshop that Laura started in 2005.

The group sing a varied repertoire, usually in four-part harmony. Expect to hear anything from Romanian folk music to contemporary pop.

The choir performs regularly at community events and has sung in support of a number of charities, including Catching Lives, Water Aid, Save the Children, Seeds for Africa, The Haiti Relief Fund and many more. In addition to community events, the choir give a number of private performances at weddings and other special occasions.

 

Thursday Workshop:

Some experience of ensemble harmony singing is definitely advantageous.

Where: The Umbrella Centre, St.Mary’s Hall, 10 Oxford Street, Whitstable, CT5 1DD

When: Thursdays (during term time) at 6.30pm until 8.00pm.

Fee: £6.00 per session payable in advance at the beginning of each half term, concessions available for students.
